A Chance to Escape

For many, travel is the perfect way to escape from their everyday lives as a tax inspector or Raticide operative, even if only for a few days or a couple of weeks. That one annual holiday comes to represent the highlight of the year, with all hopes and dreams pinned on that fortnight.

Location is all so important as where you choose to holiday represents how you are seen by your friends and family and so careful thought often goes into where you will visit. These two weeks, for many, are seen as sacred and so destination is key.

You have visions of cocktails by the pool and lazy days spent sunbathing or taking in cultural sites, with the whole family in perfect harmony and not a single argument on the horizon, however many squabbles there may be the other fifty weeks of the year.

The problem is that many people load their holidays with so many expectations, that in reality they can never live up to the dream holiday that you have lovingly created in your head for so many months and many holidays are destined to fail from the start.

Over tired kids, dodgy tummies and unfamiliar culture can mean that holidays are actually quite stressful instead of relaxing and many people find themselves longing to return home.
