What we can cater for:
High capacity restaurant, divided into three rooms gives us a opportunity to cater for a variety of occassions and set ups. We tailor make it to your requirements. La Riviera accommodates up to 135 guests at ground floor and up to 70 in the first floor restaurant. Both rooms are very versatile in that it can be set to cater for a variety of needs.
On the catering front, almost any budget can be provided for with fine food in either buffet or restaurant style.
Wedding & Christening Room Hire
Ground floor Main room - Seating for up to 95 guests and buffet style up to 200 guests
This area has the large windows overlooking the River Tyne and the patio windows to the terrace, and is used as the main restaurant. This room is the perfect setting for wedding receptions or private dinner parties at the same time as more intimate and atmospheric dinner gatherings.
Ground floor Back room - Seating up to 36 guests.
This area is an extension of the main restaurant, used for more quieter and semi-private gatherings. The room can be set out with smaller tables or 3 tables of 10 to 15 guests.
1st floor restaurant (otherwise known as Mojo's) - Seating up to 75 guests
This is more the private booking room and/or the overflow of the main dining area. This room can be utilised for a variety of uses and settings. Seminars, promotions, private dinners, disco, wine tasting, training, meetings and group dinners are among the various uses the room has seen. The setup and menus can be arranged to suit your needs. The room also has a private bar. On public evenings, this room offers cosy, romantic surroundings for the guests to enjoy.
